Sugar, Sugar, Baby! Fun & Sugary Sweet Editorial Series- Utah Photography

Sugar, spice, and everything nice– this isn’t the Powerpuff Girls. It’s the Sugar Editorial Series that has all the sweets, colors, and girls just plain having fun!

After we had finished our Rainbow Shoot Editorial Series, Makenzie Dodge (Phoenix Artistry, formly known as Peacock Artistry) reached out to me about doing an editorial series involving sugar and sweets. She discussed the therapy of learning to love all the foods she loves, and we agreed it could be quite liberating to just enjoy sweets artistically.

Makenzie arranged most things for the shoot (models, initial inspiration, choosing the sweets) and then we discussed ideas as a team of what we could do.

This series was seriously such a blast. Each group of girls just had fun and was willing to try new things with me as I got to experiment with new techniques and styles. And we all enjoyed treats together after/at each shoot! It was a blast.
