You are about to become a new mom–and you are probably on cloud nine with how excited (or ready) you are for your little one(s) to arrive. And your pregnancy doesn’t have to be glamorous to make you shine with beauty. Capture that “glow” from between the clouds with maternity pictures!

Families (big, small, growing, built, or grown) are what make this world. Documenting your family at its different stages is important. Our families become a story woven throughout time. Your life is a story that deserves to be developed, and your family should be in the story frames.

Your identity as a brand should stand out–especially in the visual world of social media. Color, values, and icons as part of your brand is not enough. You need someone who not only can, but wants to bring your brand’s voice to life. Work with someone who is passionate about you.

It is a carousel ride of blurred lights and laughs and smiles. It is a whirlwind. It isn’t about documenting your day. It is about truly living in the moment as you experience your life changing. Hire a photographer that lets you focus on the now and enjoy your day right then… and then for years to come!

The rainbow series is an editorial series I worked on in collaboration with Makenzie Peacock at Peacock Artistry.
This editorial took about 6 months of planning, research, coordination, shooting, and editing to bring together. In the end, this series consisted of 8 different colors, and was even featured in Downtown Provo’s Art Stroll.
Inspired by E.T.A. Hoffman’s “Der Sandmann” I take a feminine, dark twist on the sandman substory that scares children into finally getting in bed and closing their eyes!
The dark idea of a woman coming down to sprinkle sand in children’s eyes (who were still awake), steal their eyes, and go back up to the moon–and then understanding the psychological trauma that E.T.A. Hoffmann’s main character, Nathanael, connects to this figure made this story my cup of tea (or eyeballs in this case).

I have definitely always wanted to be an artist or creator though; I was inspired from a young age by Walt Disney, Tim Burton, Dr. Seuss, and other strange explorers and creators that followed their own dreams and fantasies. I wanted to bring the worlds in my head alive, and help others create and dream. And that is exactly why I like your photoshoot to reflect the details in you or your brand’s story: you deserve to have your dreams brought to life.
