Photo session with Celebrate Everyday at the Provo Castle Amphitheater in Provo, Utah.
Little did I know how much this shoot would mean to me! I met some of my favorite people and become a part of Celebrate Everyday because of this shoot!
I got to shoot at the Provo Castle Ampitheater–which is actually an area made for the Utah State Hospital residents. Because the Utah State Hospital owns the Provo Castle Ampitheater, there is a “donation” photography fee of $20 and reservations may be required to use the space.
JoCee, owner at Celebrate Everyday, took care of the fee and arranged for another photographer and myself to meet there and shoot a number of dresses for her non-profit.
Dresses for a non-profit? Yes, that’s right! And actually beautiful, princess prom dresses! Celebrate Everyday accepts donated prom dresses so underprivileged youth can afford a prom or homecoming dress for their special night!
So naturally, they need brand and product images to show their prom dresses off!
I tried to get some lifestyle images to use for branding, so had the girls mostly on the stone steps and overlook. I ended with taking some images up where someone had obviously had a romantic photoshoot with rose petals. Definitely gave the images a Beauty and the Beast “Something There” vibes, am I right?
I loved this shoot and even got to meet and work with another photographer from Utah County!
