The blossoms are back! And it reminded me of a family session from last year for an adorable family that grew from two to four overnight: they had twins!
I grew up with the Kerns back in Vegas–of course I was much younger than them at the time (aka they were my babysitters!) But when I found out one of the siblings family was budding with not one, but TWO babies I was thrilled to capture their little family!
If you see my post about their sneak peek, you’ll see there is a soft spot in my hear for twins. My two younger brothers are twins–which made quite the adventure for my parents going from zero to three babies in 17 months!
So I heard about the unique struggles, but I also heard about the unique memories that NO ONE ELSE gets to experience–like personalities springing forth in two innocent souls at once.
The Kerns’ two little ones definitely had their own unique personalities–one was more playful, one was more shy but still wanted attention. They both knew how to charm the pants off of you and honestly–these were some of the most well behaved babies I had ever interacted with!
Their parents, Evan and Aerro, amazed me with their patience, care and understanding for just what each one needed. And the love, joy, and strength between them is undeniable. Although twins are quite the journey–I knew if anyone could handle it these two could!
I got lucky enough to capture not only everyone interacting as a family, but Evan and Aerro getting to just talk and be together for a few moments without kids (don’t worry–my husband was watching them).
I’m excited when I see how much they have grown over time and how these beautiful spring pictures remind me the beauty of new beginnings that couples and families take together.
